This glossary can help you prepare for the IELTS writing tasks related to the shopping with travelling.

credit card: noun phrase; A small plastic card issued by a bank, building society, etc., allowing the holder to purchase goods or services on credit.; Example: The camera cost $799, and I paid for it with my Visa credit card.
destination: noun; The place to which someone or something is going or being sent.; Example: When you got to your destination you discovered that some important items were missing from the box.
grateful: adjective; Feeling or showing an appreciation for something done or received.; Example: As you are the representative of the company in this country I would be grateful if you could arrange for the parts to be sent to me.
missing parts: noun phrase; A missing part is a part that they need and do not have.; Example: I am now in Toronto, and I am not returning to Frankfurt, so I need to get the missing parts here.
overseas: adverb; From, to, or relating to a foreign country, especially one across the sea.; Example: You recently bought a camera while travelling overseas.
purchase: verb; Acquire (something) by paying for it; buy.; Example: I purchased a Canon DSLR camera from the Duty Free store at Frankfurt Airport on my way from Moscow to Toronto.
receipt: noun; The action of receiving something or the fact of its being received.; Example: I attach a copy of the receipt with this letter for your information.
recently: adverb; At a recent time; not long ago.; Example: You recently bought a camera while travelling overseas.
representative: noun; A person chosen or appointed to act or speak for another or others.; Example: As you are the representative of the company in this country I would be grateful if you could arrange for the parts to be sent to me.
to my horror: adjective phrase; To my surprise, to my shock.; Example: I discovered, to my horror, that the box which contained the camera did not include the battery charger.
